HAPPY NEW YEAR!
We’ve been together for a couple of years now, and I’m afraid that there have been too few things to celebrate on this blog during “these unprecedented times” (hooray that phrase is waning).
I refuse to disappoint you any further, so I’m thrilled to share that my story was accepted into an anthology today! The first day of the year—that has to be a good omen, right? Let’s celebrate!
As for resolutions, I spent a lot of 2021 feeling sorry for myself. It’s time I focus outward on the people I cherish:
I resolve to navigate this new year with kindness, patience, elegance, and both feet on the ground.
